General Questions

What Opulent NX is, who it's for, and how to get started — the basics every Filipino business owner asks first.

Opulent NX is an all-in-one cloud business software platform built specifically for Filipino MSMEs. It combines cloud accounting software, a BIR-accredited POS system, inventory management, and fixed assets management in a single platform — so you can manage your entire business from one place without juggling multiple tools.

Opulent NX is built for Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) — including sari-sari stores, restaurants, retail shops, service businesses, startups, and growing companies across the Philippines. Whether you are in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, or anywhere in the country, Opulent NX is designed for your business.

Yes. Opulent NX is designed so that business owners — not just accountants — can manage their own books with confidence. The interface is clean and straightforward, and our onboarding team guides you through setup from day one. You do not need any accounting background to use Opulent NX.

Yes. Opulent NX is 100% cloud-based, which means you can access your business data from any device — desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone — as long as you have an internet connection. There is nothing to install and no local servers to maintain. All updates are automatic.

Yes. You can start a free 7-day trial with full access to all features — no credit card required. The best way to start is to book a free live demo first, so our team can show you exactly how Opulent NX fits your business before your trial begins.

At the end of your 7-day free trial, you can choose a subscription plan that fits your business size and needs. Plans are billed monthly with no hidden fees. If you need more time to decide, contact our sales team and we will be happy to assist.

Yes — your free trial gives you full access to all Opulent NX features across all modules: cloud accounting, BIR-accredited POS, inventory management, and fixed assets management. You get the complete platform, not a limited preview.

Unlike QuickBooks and Xero, Opulent NX is built natively for the Philippine market. This means BIR compliance, local tax reports (VAT, WHT, DAT files), and Philippine-specific workflows are built in — not added on as workarounds. Opulent NX also includes a BIR-accredited POS system and inventory management in one platform, which QuickBooks and Xero do not offer natively. And our pricing is designed specifically for Filipino MSME budgets.

Yes. Opulent NX is accessible on any device with a modern web browser — including smartphones and tablets running iOS or Android. You can check your finances, process sales, and manage inventory on the go from anywhere in the Philippines.

Yes. Because Opulent NX is fully cloud-based, it is available to businesses anywhere in the Philippines — from Metro Manila and Cebu to Davao, Iloilo, and beyond. Our support team assists businesses nationwide.

Yes. Opulent NX supports multi-user access with role-based permissions. You can give your accountant, cashiers, inventory staff, and managers their own logins with access limited to what they need — keeping your data secure while letting your whole team work together in real time.

Yes. You can import existing data — including customer records, supplier lists, product catalogues, and historical transactions — into Opulent NX. Our onboarding team assists with data migration from spreadsheets, QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting systems.

Opulent NX has limited offline functionality for the POS module — allowing you to continue processing sales even without internet. However, any transactions made offline are temporarily stored in your browser and must be synced to the cloud once your connection is restored.

Important: Do not clear your browser cache until all offline transactions have been successfully synced, as this may result in permanent data loss.

Opulent NX is based in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Our office is located at 7373 Bakawan St., Brgy. San Antonio, Makati City. We are a Philippine company built by Filipinos, for Filipino businesses.

BIR Compliance & POS

Everything about BIR accreditation, CAS compliance, official receipts, VAT, and keeping your Philippine business tax-compliant.

Yes. Opulent NX's POS system is fully BIR-accredited in the Philippines. This means your receipts, sales invoices, Z-readings, and eSales reports are automatically compliant with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations — protecting your business from penalties, fines, and audit risk from day one.

Opulent NX generates all the BIR-required reports your business needs, including:

  • Sales Journal, Purchase Journal
  • Cash Receipt Journal, Cash Disbursement Journal
  • General Ledger and General Journal
  • Z-readings and X-readings
  • eSales Reports (for BIR eSales portal submission)
  • Summary List of Sales (SLS) and Summary List of Purchases (SLP)
  • BIR Form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld)
  • VAT Returns — BIR Form 2550M/Q
  • DAT files for CAS submission

All reports are formatted to BIR specifications and ready for submission.

A BIR-accredited POS system is a point-of-sale solution officially approved by the Bureau of Internal Revenue to legally issue Official Receipts (OR) and Sales Invoices (SI). Philippine law requires all businesses using a POS machine to register it with the BIR via the eAccReg system.

Businesses using non-accredited POS systems face penalties, tax assessments, and potential closure orders. With Opulent NX, your POS is already BIR-accredited — compliance is built in automatically.

Yes. Opulent NX is fully compliant with the BIR's Computerized Accounting System (CAS) requirements under BIR Revenue Memorandum Order No. 21-2000. Your books of accounts, financial reports, and transaction records generated by Opulent NX are legally recognised by the BIR, protecting your business from audit risks and penalties.

Yes. Opulent NX handles VAT computation, VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive pricing, input and output VAT tracking, and generates BIR Form 2550M/Q (VAT Returns). It also supports Withholding Tax (WHT) calculations and generates BIR Form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source) for your suppliers and service providers.

Yes. Opulent NX can generate DAT files — the BIR's required format for Computerized Accounting System (CAS) data submission. This is critical for businesses required to submit their books of accounts electronically to the BIR. Our team guides you through the DAT file generation and submission process during onboarding.

Yes. Even with a BIR-accredited POS system, you are still required to register the specific POS unit with your local Revenue District Office (RDO) via the BIR eAccReg system. Opulent NX handles the accreditation side — our team assists you with the registration documents and process. Once approved, you will receive a Permit to Use (PTU) from the BIR, which must be visibly displayed at your POS station.

Yes. Opulent NX is updated to comply with the Ease of Paying Taxes (EOPT) Act — the Philippine law that modernised and simplified tax compliance for businesses. Our team ensures the platform stays current with evolving BIR regulations so your business is always protected.

Yes. Opulent NX's BIR-accredited POS generates legally compliant Official Receipts (OR) and Sales Invoices (SI) that meet all BIR requirements — including your business name, TIN, BIR-accredited machine number, transaction details, and VAT/Non-VAT breakdown as required under BIR Regulations No. 11-2004.

Yes. Opulent NX's POS has offline mode capability — you can continue processing sales and issuing receipts even without internet. All transactions are stored locally and automatically synced to the cloud once your connection is restored, ensuring your BIR reports remain complete and accurate.

Always sync before clearing your browser cache to avoid data loss.

Products & Features

What's included in Opulent NX — accounting, POS, inventory, fixed assets, and how everything works together.

Opulent NX offers four core products in one integrated platform:

  1. Cloud Accounting Software — automated bookkeeping, invoicing, financial reports, BIR compliance
  2. BIR-Accredited POS System — compliant point-of-sale for retail, restaurants, and service businesses
  3. Inventory Management Software — real-time stock tracking, reorder alerts, supplier management
  4. Fixed Assets Management — asset depreciation, tracking, and BIR-ready reporting

All four modules work together in one platform — your POS, inventory, and accounting are fully connected in real time.

You can start with the modules your business needs right now and add more as you grow. For example, you can start with Cloud Accounting and add the BIR POS module when you are ready. Our sales team can help you choose the right combination for your business type and budget.

Opulent NX's inventory management is fully integrated with the accounting module. Every stock movement — purchases, sales, returns, adjustments — automatically updates your accounting records in real time. This means your cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory valuation, and financial reports are always accurate without any manual data entry between systems.

Yes. Opulent NX supports multi-branch and multi-location setups. You can manage inventory, sales, and accounting across all your branches from one centralised platform — with consolidated reporting and branch-level visibility. Contact our sales team to discuss the right plan for your multi-branch business.

Yes. Opulent NX includes full invoicing and billing functionality — create, send, and track sales invoices, official receipts, purchase orders, and billing statements. All invoices are BIR-compliant and can be generated directly from the platform for customers and suppliers.

Yes. The Fixed Assets Management module lets you register all business assets, set depreciation schedules (straight-line, declining balance, etc.), track asset locations and conditions, and generate BIR-ready depreciation reports.

Yes. Opulent NX supports both VAT-inclusive (price already includes VAT) and VAT-exclusive (VAT added on top) pricing across all modules — accounting, POS, and invoicing. You can configure VAT settings per product, per customer, or per transaction type according to your business needs and BIR registration status.

Yes. Opulent NX is used by restaurants and food service businesses across the Philippines. The POS module handles table management, order routing, and BIR-compliant receipts, while the inventory module tracks ingredients and supplies. The accounting module handles VAT, WHT, and all BIR reporting specific to food and beverage businesses.

Opulent NX is fully accessible via mobile web browser on iOS and Android devices — no separate app download is required. Simply log in through your smartphone or tablet browser to access all features. A dedicated mobile app is on our product roadmap.
